Waiver days are scheduled throughout the year to allow for more targeted training and other opportunites. These are work days for Paras. You may choose to come in and do building based work, receive training or you may use the option of taking a leave without pay. Take sick leave or family leave only if appropriate. Becauase some waiver days fall before a holiday, you will not be able to use Extraordinary Leave. Our contract states that this leave may not be used to extend a holiday. (This includes November 9 and February 15.
